París a principios de los años 60. El barrio de Saint-Germain vivía al ritmo de sesiones nocturnas en clubes de jazz y encuentros artísticos. La gente discutía el mundo, bailaba y reía en un ambiente tan vibrante como elegante.
El Orphéon era uno de los bares, lleno de alegre efervescencia, donde les gustaba reunirse a los tres fundadores de la cercana boutique Diptyque. Hoy, rindiendo homenaje a esta época, el bar queda inmortalizado en el retrato olfativo que lleva su nombre: Orphéon.
Congela el cuadro: rizos de humo de tabaco se mezclan con estelas empolvadas de colorete, que persisten en la madera bruñida. En el corazón de la composición está la atmósfera de ese lugar inolvidable, reconocible a través de la calidez del haba tonka, la profundidad del cedro y la vivacidad de las bayas de enebro.
