Diptyque's Orphéon perfume captures the vibrant spirit of the early hours of a Parisian night. Inspired by the legendary Orphéon jazz club in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, this fragrance pays homage to the creative and cosmopolitan atmosphere of Paris in the 1960s, when Diptyque's founders would gather there to dance, converse and be carried away by the artistic effervescence of the moment.
The opening is bright and energetic thanks to green mandarin, which brings a bright and slightly juicy citrus freshness. From the very first moment, the fragrance conveys that electrifying feeling of the early evening, when everything is yet to be discovered.
At the heart are juniper berries, which introduce an aromatic and spicy dimension with slightly green nuances. This accord evokes the elegance of classic cocktails and the sophisticated ambience of a lively Parisian bar.
The base is built on an elegant and structured cedar wood that brings depth and balance. The result is a fresh, spicy and woody fragrance that evolves naturally on the skin, leaving a refined and modern trail.
