In our historical moment, Francesca Bianchi felt the need to offer not a challenging and divisive creation, but something that could bring comfort to the spirit, an invitation to connect with oneself and temporarily forget about everyday worries.
«Luxe Calme Volupté» is a recurring line taken from Baudelaire's beautiful poem Invitation au Voyage: Everything there is order and beauty, Luxury, peace and pleasure.
Luxe Calme Volupté is also the name of an important painting by Henri Matisse, which conveys the same ideas that inspired this perfume, namely the contrast between the calm and peaceful character on the one hand, and the sensual and decadent elements on the other.
