Corpus Equus is a dark, wild and deeply emotional perfume. Inspired by Naomi Goodsir's first horse, a white Arabian named Tequila, this fragrance signed by Bertrand Duchaufour captures the visceral bond between human and animal. From the first instant, it hits with an intense mix of burnt leather, horse hair and cigar ash. But after that aggressive start, layers of musk, black rose petals and warm amber emerge to give it an unexpectedly soft depth. Like a Pierre Soulages painting, it is absolute black but luminous, a jewel for those who seek perfumes with character, uncompromising and soulful.
