The ANGELS’ SHARE ON THE ROCKS perfume by Kilian Paris is a gourmand fragrance that reinterprets the spirited universe from a fresher, more vibrant approach. Inspired by cognac served on the rocks, this perfume combines a cold, sparkling opening with a warm and enveloping base.
The opening is bright and effervescent. The “On the Rocks” accord brings an iced, crystalline sensation, accompanied by bitter orange, bergamot and aldehydes. It is a fresh, almost sharp opening that breaks away from what is expected within gourmand perfumes.
At the heart, the perfume regains its liqueur-like essence. Cognac takes centre stage, accompanied by cinnamon, which adds a warm, spiced nuance. This contrast between hot and cold creates a dynamic and highly appealing evolution. Unlike traditional sweet fragrances, here the initial freshness completely alters the experience.
The dry-down is smooth, warm and lingering. Tonka bean and oak provide a creamy, slightly sweet and woody base reminiscent of aged casks. It is a well-balanced, elegant fragrance with a clear evolution on the skin.
