The OLD FASHIONED perfume by Kilian Paris is a woody, liqueur-like fragrance inspired by the complexity of aged whisky. Deep, warm and sophisticated, this perfume recreates the feeling of a single malt enjoyed by the fire, with a rich and enveloping evolution.
The opening is intense and full of character. The wheat provides a cereal and slightly sweet nuance, while the davana introduces a fruity and liqueur-like touch reminiscent of the first sip of a well-poured whisky. It is a warm and elegant opening with a unique texture.
At the heart, the fragrance becomes more structured. Cedarwood takes centre stage, imparting a dry, clean and sophisticated feel. The everlasting flower adds a warm, slightly spicy and floral nuance, creating a smooth transition yet with depth. Unlike sweeter gourmand perfumes, here everything remains balanced and mature.
The dry down is where the perfume shows its essence. Styrax and Tolu balsam provide a resinous, warm and slightly smoky character, evoking wooden casks and damp landscapes. It is a lingering base that envelops the skin with elegance.
