El perfume Amara Vita de Meo Fusciuni es la primera incursión gourmand del perfumista: una fragancia envolvente y dulce de cacao inspirada en una historia de amor que termina. Meo la imagina como una tarta de chocolate y una mirada perdida en el vacío, entre las luces y las sombras del mismo mundo.
El cacao es el corazón y su piedra filosofal. Se abre con frambuesa, naranja confitada y café; en el corazón se encuentra con la nota empolvada del iris y con la cremosidad del sándalo y la haba tonka. Así, las notas olfativas pasan de lo frutal y cálido a lo suave y cremoso.
El fondo deja una impresión amarga pero elegante, nostálgica y a la vez alegre, que evoca la serenidad del amor. Vainilla, benjuí, pachulí, vetiver de Bourbon, almizcle, ámbar, cuero y oud completan una composición cálida y sensual. A diferencia de un gourmand azucarado, aquí el cacao convive con cuero y oud, y lo dulce no pierde profundidad.
