Ivy is a symbol of loyalty and attachment, but its scent cannot be extracted. So we have to invent it, give it green notes, extend the roots of its trail... Eau de Lierre is a fresh and slightly aquatic accord, as herbaceous as the green sap that rises through the ivy.
In Egypt and among early Christians, ivy symbolised eternal life. Among the Greeks, it was dedicated to Dionysos, the god of joy and vitality. The Romans dedicated it to Bacchus and to the glory of the poets.
