Portrait of a Lady Body Ritual by Frédéric Malle is a limited edition that brings together two emblematic pieces: a 200ml bath gel and a 50ml eau de parfum. Created by Dominique Ropion, this composition elevates the Turkish rose to a monumental, intense and deeply sensual dimension.
The perfume is one of the great contemporary creations of perfumery. Damascena rose unfurls in exuberant proportions, enveloped by patchouli, sandalwood and incense. The structure recalls the spirit of the great 20th century chypre, with a play of light and shade, elegance and depth that defines its timeless character.
The opening introduces a fruity raspberry nuance that brings brightness and contrast before the rose takes centre stage. In the base, patchouli reinforces the earthy, woody structure, while sandalwood and incense add resinous warmth and sophistication.
The bath gel prolongs this experience from the first gesture. Its soft texture transforms into a rich, luxurious lather that gently cleanses the skin. After rinsing, the skin is soft, comfortable and subtly scented with the iconic signature of Portrait of a Lady.
This ritual combines intensity, refinement and olfactory coherence, allowing the fragrance to be worn from the shower to the final application of the perfume.
