Diptyque's Orphéon scented body lotion is part of the Perfume Gestures collection, a line that reinvents the way fragrances are applied through sensorial textures. In this collection, perfume becomes matter and matter becomes perfume, creating a more intimate and enveloping olfactory experience on the skin.
Inspired by the legendary Orphéon bar in Paris in the 1960s, the fragrance captures the creative and bohemian atmosphere of the Saint-Germain district. There, Diptyque's founders would gather amidst jazz music, tobacco smoke and endless conversations. This vibrant and elegant atmosphere translates into a sophisticated scent that evokes memories of an artistic and free era.
The composition combines the depth of cedar, the enveloping warmth of tonka bean and the aromatic character of juniper berries. These notes blend with a soft background reminiscent of vintage cosmetics and polished bar wood, creating a lightly smoky, elegant and enveloping perfume.
