Ris Ebène by Atelier Materi is a unisex fragrance that highlights the sensual and comfortable facets of iris. Using natural iris from the dry Atlas valley, perfumer Marie Hugentobler creates a contrasting composition where iris reveals its dark and sensual side, blended with woods, balsams and musks. The iris roots, hand-peeled and air-dried, are distilled after six years to produce a precious absolute. The delicate, powdery scent of iris evokes hints of violet, mimosa and carrot, with buttery, woody accents. Ris Ebène is a perfume that wraps around you like a cashmere jumper.
