L'Air du Désert Marocain Noir is the deep, nocturnal continuation of one of Andy Tauer's most iconic creations. If the original evoked the golden warmth of the sunset in Morocco, this version in Extrait (30%) enters the night of the desert: darker, quieter, more intense.
The opening introduces a bright, sharp contrast. Bergamot, lemon and petitgrain illuminate the composition like cool stars on a black horizon. This citrus sparkle brings air and sharpness, balancing the resinous density that will come later.
In the heart, the perfume reveals its deepest character. The labdanum (cistus) is intensified, creating an enveloping, balsamic warmth. The leather adds texture and sobriety, while the jasmine softens the whole with an understated elegance. Here the fragrance becomes more introspective, almost meditative.
The background is broad, dry and expansive. Ambergris, oak moss, cedar and vetiver They build an earthy, mineral base that evokes stones still warm after sunset. The result is a less sweet, drier amber, as vast as the night landscape.
With its high concentration, this elixir offers depth and longevity, maintaining an elegant and enveloping scent without being invasive.
