The CANELO NEGRO perfume by 7 Mestizos is an intense, ritualistic fragrance inspired by the shamanic traditions of South America. A dark, smoky and deeply evocative composition that revolves around the Chilean winter's bark (Drimys winteri), a sacred tree of the Mapuche people and a symbol of connection between heaven and earth. A creation designed for those who look for perfumes with identity, character and a unique story behind every note.
The opening presents the spicy and aromatic freshness of the leaves and bark of the Chilean cinnamon tree. This green and vibrant opening introduces a mysterious sensation reminiscent of the damp forests of southern Chile and the ancestral rituals celebrated around the fire.
At the heart, the fragrance becomes deeper and more magnetic. Cade oil brings an intense smoky accord that evokes embers, burnt wood and ceremonial smoke. Amazonian mapacho tobacco adds an earthy and enveloping facet, whilst labdanum provides a resinous richness that intensifies the spiritual character of the composition. The result is powerful, dark and extraordinarily original.
The dry-down develops a warm and lingering trail where guaiac wood, vetiver, resins and barks create a sensation that is both primitive and elegant.
