El perfume Sunken Tobacco de BeauFort London es un eau de parfum creado por Euan McCall en 2026 a partir de una idea muy de la casa: hojas de tabaco guardadas durante años en una caja de madera en el fondo del mar, impregnadas de sal. Al abrir esa caja aparece un tabaco dulce, meloso, cálido, terroso y herbáceo, con el giro oscuro y marino que define a la firma británica.
La salida es especiada y afrutada: anís estrellado, cardamomo y azafrán se mezclan con hidromiel de cereza, incienso y absoluto de grosella negra, que aportan un brillo jugoso sobre un fondo ya resinoso. En el corazón, el enebro, el clavo, el iris, la mirra y la ciruela damascena construyen un acorde aromático y ligeramente empolvado.
El fondo es el gran protagonista. El absoluto de tabaco se apoya en algas, madera de roble, ámbar gris, guayaco, abedul, musgo de roble, cedro, vetiver, láudano, bálsamo de gurjun y cipriol, una base salina, ahumada y profundamente amaderada que sostiene la calidez del tabaco durante horas. A diferencia de los tabacos más golosos y avainillados, aquí la hoja se vuelve mineral, oscura y casi náutica.
Ideal para quien busca un perfume nicho de tabaco con personalidad, diferente a lo habitual. Encaja en otoño e invierno, en noches y en días frescos en los que apetece una estela cálida y envolvente. Unisex. Formato de 50 ml.
