Molecule 01 + Champaca perfume by Escentric Molecules belongs to the Molecule + collection, a series that explores radical minimalism in perfumery. The concept is simple but brilliant: take the iconic Iso E Super molecule - the base of Molecule 01 - and add a single natural ingredient that transforms its character. In this case, the protagonist is champaca.
Iso E Super is a synthetic aromatic molecule famous for its soft and enveloping aura. It is perceived as an abstract cedarwood, warm and velvety, with an almost tactile sensation on the skin. It does not present itself as a traditional fragrance, but as a subtle presence that envelops the wearer with an understated elegance.
Champaca, in contrast, is a lush and complex raw material. Extracted from the red flower of the champaca tree in India, it is one of the richest absolutes in perfumery. Its profile combines facets of jasmine and orange blossom with nuances of tea and a creamy softness that slowly unfolds on the skin.
