OUD Velvet Mood de Maison Francis Kurkdjian es un Extrait de Parfum que explora la madera de oud desde una perspectiva inesperadamente suave, sensual y táctil. Inspirado en la imagen de las dunas del desierto calentadas por el sol, cuya arena recuerda a un manto de terciopelo, Francis Kurkdjian construye una composición donde las maderas profundas se encuentran con acordes afrutados, florales y de cuero.
La fragancia juega desde el principio con las texturas. El acorde de melocotón aporta una sensación carnosa, jugosa y aterciopelada, mientras el azafrán introduce un contraste especiado, ligeramente metálico y con matices de cuero. Una combinación que aporta luminosidad y tensión antes de revelar las facetas más profundas de la composición.
En su evolución aparece el jazmín Grandiflorum, una flor de enorme complejidad aromática que introduce matices florales, solares y afrutados. A su lado, el acorde de cuero recuerda especialmente a la suavidad del ante, reforzando esa sensación táctil que define la identidad de OUD Velvet Mood.
El oud se convierte finalmente en el eje de la fragancia. Amaderado, ahumado, profundo y envolvente, aporta una estela intensa que contrasta con la suavidad del melocotón y el cuero. Maison Francis Kurkdjian utiliza oud producido siguiendo principios de comercio justo y sostenible.
