Vanitas es una de las fragancias insignia de Profumum Roma, una composición floral oriental centrada en la vainilla que se ha convertido en una referencia dentro de la perfumería de nicho italiana.
La pirámide olfativa comienza con una nota fría de mirra, casi resinosa, que da paso en el corazón a una delicada flor de azahar. En el fondo, la vainilla se combina con madera de sándalo, generando un acorde cremoso, cálido y envolvente que constituye el verdadero centro de la fragancia.
Lo que distingue a Vanitas de otras fragancias de vainilla es el contraste entre la frialdad inicial de la mirra y la calidez posterior del acorde vainilla-sándalo: una combinación que aporta profundidad y evita la sensación de dulzura plana. El resultado es una fragancia sensual y con una identidad olfativa muy marcada.
