Fièvre Verte by Kilian Paris is a tribute to the Parisian ritual of absinthe, the legendary drink that marked the bohemian spirit of the city at the end of the 19th century. Inspired by the Parisian happy hour, when the green liqueur was slowly mixed with sugar in the glass, the fragrance captures this moment of mystery, creativity and decadent elegance.
The opening is dominated by the essence of absinthe, a green and slightly bitter aromatic note that brings immediate character. Its aroma evokes the classic ritual of drinking, with its pastel green hue reminiscent of both Parisian fog and a Van Gogh impressionist brushstroke.
At the heart is violet leaf and liquorice root absolute. This accord brings a green, slightly earthy nuance with a sweet aniseed touch that intensifies the liqueur-like character of the composition. The result is a unique olfactory texture that blends vegetal freshness with aromatic depth.
The base is articulated around a dry, elegant patchouli that intertwines with woods, vetiver and sandalwood. This structure adds depth and persistence, leaving a sophisticated and enveloping trail that defines the nocturnal character of the fragrance.
