The Beaufort's Sirenide perfume is born from the legends of the Orkney archipelago in the north of Scotland. Inspired by the myths of the Selkies, The fragrance embodies the power, mystery and vengeance of these shape-shifting sea creatures.
The story that brings it to life inverts the traditional tale: the mermaid, after being stripped of her skin, poisons her captor and returns to the sea. This duality between humanity and the ocean translates into an intense and enigmatic composition, where aquatic notes intertwine with chords of leather, water flowers and an unsettling touch of bitter almond. Unlike conventional marine perfumes, here the water does not smell of salt, but of wet skin and melancholy.
The result is a powerful, sensual fragrance, with the depth of ambergris and the character of Atlas cedar. At its heart, water lily and pink lotus evoke the surface of the ocean before the storm, while a base of synthetic leather and enveloping woods creates a long-lasting, magnetic trail.
